This aircraft has had an interesting history in the last few years. Imported from France in 2008, this aircraft was later seized for entering the country illegally. Along with three spare engines, several 20mm cannons were seized as well. After several years of court battle the government transferred ownership of the airframe and all associated equipment and parts to the U.S. Navy/National Museum of Naval Aviation in 2012. I doubt we have heard the last story on the legal status of this aircraft.
