Warbirds Online is a department of the Warbirds Resource Group. In operation for more than 10 years, the Warbirds Resource Group has become one of the most trusted information sources for warbird information on the World Wide Web. The Warbirds Resource Group also hosts the Warbird Information Exchange public forum and the Warbird Registry, an ever expanding registry of warbird survivors around the world with detail histories of ownership and photography.
Warbirds Online invites correspondents from all over the world to contribute to the daily blog. If you are interested in being a correspondent, please email Ryan Keough, Associate Editor.
Scott Rose – Editor-in-Chief
Being brought up the son of a naval aviator developed Scott’s interest in aviation early in life. Originally interested in jets his fascination soon switched to WWII aircraft, specifically the Luftwaffe designs. This led to the establishment of the Luftwaffe Resource Group. The site quickly diverged into other WWII aviation subjects and eventually became the Warbirds Resource Group in March of 1996. Over the next ten years the site has grew substantially and currently includes over 60,000 files. Scott spent 12 years as a graphic designer but has no formal training in web design or management, being entirely self-taught. In recent years he has been a truck washer, a computer programmer, a graphic designer, a Satellite Uplink Communications Technician, and is currently a prototyping lab technician at a R&D tech company in Cambridge, MA.
